DIY Oversized Eyecup for GH4/GH5
Shooting in bright sunlight is difficult, all the more if you wear glasses like I do. I have looked online for an eyecup for my GH4 and found one costing more than 30 USD. I figured I'd make one and found a suitable material. A foam sheet 12 x 18 in 2mm thick sold in art stores or even in walmart cost only 89 cents. I made a template which you can print and trace over this foam sheet, cut and glue using contact cement. Here's a video showing how it's done.
